Ford's Garage Oviedo

First time visiting this restaurant but have recently heard of it so thought we would try it out. The visit did not start out so well as we waited almost 10 minutes to get a server then we waited over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Finally the manager came over and advised us there was an “issue” in the kitchen. She made things right and when we finally got our food it was really amazing. The burger and chicken sandwich were great. The building and inside were unique and interesting. There is almost always a good reason why some things happen so we took this into consideration. You definitely have to try this place out if you want some really good food and great service.

Fairly easy to find parking in this shopping center location and very quick seating for lunch time! Lunch menu runs until 2pm and shortly after happy hour begins with $4 well done drinks and $2 off other drinks. The open area dining gives a nice relaxing vibe to the place and even though it was cold outside it did not effect the temperature inside. The food was, as said above, amazing! The ribs fell off the bone and the burgers/sandwiches were juicy and fulfilling. If you must choose between the tots and fries, I’d go with the tots. They left me wanting more! The smell of onion is very overpowering throughout the restaurant and if your not a fan of onions i would suggest sitting outside or as far from the kitchen as possible. Our server was very attentive and did great with checking in on us to make sure we were well taken care of. The environment itself is very fun if your a fan of automobiles and the attention to small details like using mechanic rags as napkins is genuine. It’s not WOW but it’s fun. If you get a chance definitely stop by! You won’t be disappointed unless you hate onions! ✌🏾

Always amazing food. Tonight I tried the espresso martini. Very yummy. Also tried the chicken strips. Hand reader and TENDER!!!! They are actual breast tenderloins—not just breast meat cut into strips. The breading was perfect—but needed a little seasoning as it was a little lacking in flavor. I also tried the jalapeño cream corn. It was amazing. Not too spicy at all and garnished with crispy onions. Delicious as always and courteous service.

This is a restaurant with an interesting theme. It is themed as an auto repair garage for Model T Fords. The front seating area is made of garage doors and there is a Model T on a hydraulic lift in the center of the bar. There are many automotive details everywhere from the gas pump handles, to pull open the entry doors, to the shop rags with hose clamps that are used as napkins. The menu is on a work order clipboard and the servers are dressed as mechanics to add to the atmosphere. The prices of the food are very reasonable and there is a large selection of foods and drinks to choose from. I decided to try the Mushrooms and Swiss Cheese Burger. It was delicious. The meat was moist and tasty plus the bun was very good. I ordered some fries for my side dish and they were tasty and crispy. For dessert we enjoyed a Chocolate Volcano Cake. It was like eating a giant chocolate chip cookie with a hot chocolate liquid center with Vanilla Ice Cream on top. Needless to say, it was so good that we cleaned the plate of that one. It also looked so good that we dug right in a I forgot to take a picture of it. We are not from this area and have one closer to us that we have not visited yet. Because of our very good experience here today we will be going to the one closer to us. If you live in Oviedo you should try this one out. You won't be sorry.
